Legal Assistant/ Contract Administrator

 

The Legal Assistant/ Contract Administrator at Burgiss provides support in the areas of contract administration and review, reviewing and analyzing documents, records management, renewals and administrative office duties. Available opening in either Hoboken, NJ or Paoli, PA.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage the work flow for new contracts

  • Perform research in advance of renewal discussion

  • Record executed contracts and renewals.

  • Manage all maintenance of Contract records

  • Assist with maintenance of MSCRM Account form

  • Assist in the review of all systems related to contracts

  • Work towards developing standard language for new contacts

  • Analyze and report on risks associated with contracts

  • Interface with accounting

Additional responsibilities 

  • Provide administrative support on various Human Resources initiatives

  • Recruitment Support

  • Immigration Support

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Legal Administration; Paralegal or Legal Assistant Certification will also meet qualifications.

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of in-house contract management and/or legal administration experience.

  • Ability to handle highly sensitive information and maintain strict confidentiality.

  • Demonstrates patience and attention to detail.

  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.

  • Good communications skills, both oral and written.

  • Strong computer software and data entry skills, including experience in Microsoft Office.
