Private iQ Release Features MSCI and Russell Indexes
Hoboken, NJ, June 22, 2014 – We are excited to report the release of the following enhancements to Private iQ:
- MSCI and Russell indexes added for comparisons to public equity,
- Added reporting in different currencies to Vintage Analysis and Time Series Calculator, and
- Added number of calculable results to make calculations more transparent.
Coincident with this release is the update of the dataset through Q1 2014 from the Burgiss Manager Universe.
Compare to More Indexes
In addition to the S&P 500, Private iQ now supports public equity comparisons using indexes from Russell and MSCI. Available indexes now include:
- MSCI ACWI
- MSCI EAFE
- MSCI Emerging Markets
- MSCI Europe
- MSCI World
- Russell 1000
- Russell 2000
- Russell 3000
- S&P 500
Added Currency Reporting to More Modules
The Vintage Analysis and Time Series Calculator now support reporting in different currencies.
Calculations Made More Transparent
We have added the “# of Results” information to modules with calculations based on individual fund results, such as percentiles. This addition was made to differentiate between the number of funds in a user-specified universe and the number of calculable results for those funds, as some results may end up being incalculable.
