Instead of multiple copies of documents stored in network folders and e-mail inboxes, one copy of a file may be viewed from multiple folder locations and routed among team members within the system.

Download a document and lock it for editing, signaling to others that the file is in transition. Set a notification to receive an e-mail when a new file is uploaded to a collection of documents. Store and manage electronic files in a variety of formats, including PDF, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint  and Excel.

Which file is the most recent version? Managing versions of documents and trusting which is the most updated continues to frustrate financial professionals.

Private Archivist supports sophisticated version controls, including the ability to upload multiple versions of the document, select which is the “preferred version” and lock a document that has been finalized.
 

All documents uploaded to the Archivist system are fully indexed and searchable. A quick-search box makes it easy to find a financial report or other file, and the Advanced Search feature allows you to build and save sophisticated searches.
